As I am going to the Southampton Boat Show again this year to represent the Allures brand, my crew took the opportunity to visit the factory today to see the new version, the 45.9, that is currently in build. It will premier at Boot in Dusseldorf in January 2017, so they wanted to understand the differences between the models ready for visitors’ questions. They also said hello to the lovely guys who built me.
They followed this up with a brief trip to the Volvo engineer, who’d already begun his weekend, so they’ll have to catch him on Monday to ask his advice about Trevver’s occasional problem. Some more sewing was tackled with the help of the pontoon as a laying and cutting table.
